What is a Postpartum Doula?

"Mothering the Mother" and nurture the family transition into life with a newborn.

The postpartum doulas role is to support everyone in the family. 

​

A Postpartum Doula offers education, and personalized hands on support in newborn care, bottle feeding and breastfeeding. They can navigate through problem areas to provide education and resources.


What does a Postpartum Doula provide?

Postpartum recovery support

Care for the mother and nutritional health

Knowledge of traditional and holistic remedies

Bonding with newborn and siblings

Care for Multiples

Night feeding/sleep coaching

Light household duties, errands and much more!!


The Process

From our initial meeting I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs.

My Postpartum doula service offers 1 – 3 days a week. Depending on the package you select I can be with you for 5 days a week. For a separate fee, I can provide night time/overnight service to help families with challenges of night time parenting.


I’m always available to contact by phone/email throughout and will provide everything you require to make sure your experience is as calm and positive as possible.
